Richard’s experience in business and technology spans over 25 years specialising in unified communications, contact centres, cloud migration and digital transformation.

During this time he has worked across multiple sectors allowing him unique access to new ideas, concepts, use of technologies and overcoming challenges.  Armed with this valuable insight, he is ideally placed to help his clients achieve positive outcomes and change with their projects.

Trig Point Consulting was founded by Richard in 2020 to assist organisations who were struggling to adapt their technology, to meet the rapid shift in working practices during the pandemic.  This ability to help organisations align their technology infrastructure to their strategic direction, while tackling challenges head on is core to Richard’s consultancy practice.

Richard believes that by truly understanding the relationship between people, process and technology, it is only then that you can implement a plan to digitally transform.  Controlled deployment of the plan can pivot the entire organisation to offer personalised customer engagement, improved user productivity, increased financial metrics and ultimately drive transformation in today’s new world.

As an independent technology consultancy, Richard’s clients have complete peace of mind that the guidance they receive is impartial, honest, relevant and importantly, evidence based.  Richard is adamant that every project engagement is about doing what is right for his clients, for their people and customers.

When not consulting, Richard enjoys exploring the mountains as he is a qualified International Mountain Leader and had the honour of being Richard Branson’s personal guide while trekking in the European Alps.
